Something hot? Probably a cheeseteak with peppers, onions, and cheese whiz.

Colder? The humble club is hard to beat.

Non traditionalist? Gyro. It's more of a taco IMO though.

If I am around a Jewish part of the city I will get the pastrami on Rye. Those folks do a good job making a proper one.
