You're overly presumptive and entirely wrong; just like the posters I'm shittalking, you think you know everything and that 4chan is some kind of acquired taste, that if someone doesn't like it it's because they "don't get it."
The point is that at some level, if you post a thread and then you have to "ignore" 75% or more of the posts in your thread, you might as well have not made the thread at all. Yeah? It's a waste of time for anyone to try to have productive conversation or share what they've made, because some people come here just to be destructive, and some people like you enable and defend it as board culture.
It's not.
I've been here for almost fifteen fucking disgusting years and 4chan has been so many things that to quarantine it under any one definition is ignorant.
There was a time when /r9k/ was the best buddies board and everyone there was kind, supportive, friendly, and played games and watched movies together every night. That was back when hobby boards were meticulously janny'd by people that gave a shit.
tl;dr RIP 4chan.

>already work in fine dining (and probably will forever)
>already like wine
>work is paying for it
I don't see why I wouldn't improve my salary two- or threefold for free.

Where do you think you are and who do you think you're talking to?
I'm a waitress. I don't have any personal luxury office space to keep my shit. Sometimes I'll bring alcohol in a water bottle in my apron but it's just easier to run over to the bar, so I don't get caught holding liquor at work, and they only charge me for about 75% of my drinks anyway because I'm a regular and always tip.

Anyway, if I had unrestricted access to a whole bottle I'd be a mess of an employee. Better to keep some limits.
