Why do people always spend so much energy trying to talk others out of killing themselves, on an anonymous imageboard of all places. It has always been so strange to me. I feel like control over one's life is one of the most basic rights a person can have. Everyone that wants to do it should do it.

By the way, helium isn't necessarily as simple and painless as you think. Unless you get knocked out instantly by being really meticulous about air sealing and ensuring the helium tank you have is pure (helium is getting more expensive and several places dilute it with oxygen specifically to prevent people from killing themselves), it's very easy to panic and fuck it up at the last minute.
