It's very tiresome for anyone with even an ounce of memory. I remember when the narrative was that McDonald's was causing obesity because their greasy food was cheaper than cooking healthy food. Fast forward to the current year: they removed the supersize menu, printed the calories clearly on the menus, and nobody even talks about obesity anymore, and now they're bitching about McDonald's being too expensive. Like, I'm not going to deny that the economy isn't fucked up, but let's not act like McDonald's customers were ever savvy consumers.

Yeah. What, they're gonna make a Thanksgiving theme sandwich that's only marketable on the one of the few days most customers DON'T go to McDonalds? They have to maintain profit margins, supply lines, and store the food. There's no way they'd just shift their entire production line for a sandwich nobody even wants..
