Potentially a bit off topic, but I got a wooden tea tray in the mail today and the thing has an insanely strong smell of glue on it. Was wondering if this is just a manufacturing thing with cheaper trays and if the smell can be taken off, or if the tray is just fucked. I've tried scrubbing it with soap and also soaking it in a bath of boiling water and vinegar but the smell is still there.
