I'm Italian. I'm familiar with old school family cooking, and this is pretty much the same idea. Make excessive amounts, and subsist off leftovers for 3-4 days.
Although, pro-tip, cook the noodles fresh, as pasta is not meant to keep. The sauces and meats can be stored however, with little cost to flavour.
Reheated sausage in red sauce is just as fine as it was the first time. Honestly, what kind of a snooty faggot DOESN'T make leftovers for future meals? What, you expect me to cook a new individual meal and recipe every time I eat? Do I look like I have the time for that?
