Liver is the most nutrient dense organ meat, and it is a powerful source of vitamin A, folic acid, iron, and zinc - which your body needs.

Having said that, I've never really been too keen on trying pork or chicken livers. Pigs don't sweat and they eat literally anything they can get down their throats, so who knows what kinda trash is circulating through their systems. And chicken livers are dry and flavorless unless you fry the hell out of them. (And even then...)

Beef liver is best liver.

I ain't afraid of no liver! Shit, fried liver and onions over mashed potatoes is one of my favorite dishes.
