Threadly Reminder
King Tea Mall's prices for a lot of xiguan and dayi stuff are too damn high. They used to be much much cheaper. Im not saying don't buy those teas from them, and many are at market price, but at the same time don't use KTM prices as a reference for cheap prices or current market values. The place where king tea mall currently shines in the value department are random semi aged shengs from the other category.
I still like KTM but they used to be dirt cheap and now many of their prices are just okay and some teas are quite overpriced. Always try to reference prices at other vendors if possible to get a feel for the market. It's also time for /tea/ to start embracing taobao.
I still buy more tea from ktm then anywhere else but it's something to be aware of.
