I'm not speaking German, am I? I couldn't care less if it meant "horse asshole" in its native Hunnish tongue. In American English, a schnitzel is a pounded, breaded, and fried cutlet of meat. Basically synonymous with a milanesa. The ideal cuts of meat for a schnitzel is lean and quick cooking, like pork tenderloin, chicken breast, or veal chops. Chicken thigh needs longer, slower cooking or else it's chewy or slimy. Powers back on for now. I was actually enjoying the hard mode. Made a nice fire, grilled up some meats, smoked and drank, no work. Best time I've had recently. Just toasted croissants and eggs by the fire.
