I burnt the bottom layer of rice and the bottom of the pan is black, the rest of the rice isn't burnt but it does taste smoky. Will I die if I eat it? It tastes fine, just a bit smoky.

Unpopalar opinion, but slightly burnt food tastes better than normal food(especially rice and meat)

That was essentially my idea behind picking up that Tiger rice cooker. The reviews were pretty positive and I was sick of jasmine making rice inconsistently.

Hey /ck/, it's my first time here.

I'm really hungry and I only have rice, white long grain rice.

Last tome I cooked it I did it this way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KyMT2DRBqTo
The problem is that a layer of rice got burnt on pot. It's hard to clean it and it smells pretty bad which is the biggest problem because I leave in studio flat so everything smells like it.

I guess I'm not supposed to remove lid and stir it. Gordon Ramsay also says not to remove lid and so do many other cooking websites and youtube channels.

How do I avoid getting rice burnt for pot? Or how to cook rice correctly?
