Go to any hole in the wall diner you see but it better be rural.
Go to places called like Kathy's Kitchen or Junkyard Dog.
You need to check out some of this food. And every single place will claim to have the best BBQ.
Avoid any hipster spots and most of the chain deals. Except Rick's Barbeque cus for a chain-restaurant it is great.

A name in the title or no title at all but just is called BBQ or Country kitchen is a good sign.
Go check em out sometime, you'll have fun and the people are friendly. Just avoid black hood areas. so like 70% mississippi and all of the black belt of the south.
so you know where to avoid.
dont go to these spots, just drive through them.
