I strongly doubt this trend would continue. It is within the interests of these companies to expand their market presence so that they compete with major protein suppliers such as JBS, Tyson, and BRF, all of whom are in some part are exploring Plant Based Meat Substitutes as either a emerging market or a future path of survival. With climate change, it's expected that total arable land will decrease for meat consumption, so plant based and cell culture tech will be used to provide food products at profit. But to make that profit, they will have to compete with regular meat, which is going to have to be done via cost competition. Once the price of a PBMA gets below the cost of traditional meat, (And the quality is close to indistinguishable) consumers will shift part, or all of their protein consumption to them because they gain the same utility per dollar over meat that costs significantly more.

I have GERD so here's my advice.

Take your Omeprazole religiously. the drug takes a long time to reach therapeutic blood plasma levels (48 hrs i think) so if you skip a day you will wish you were dead. Keep it in your car, your bag, wherever. Doctors are starting to think their use is fine for a while if you get approval to continue their use.

Identify trigger foods and behaviors. There are usual suspects online, but people are different. I can't eat chocolate, so that stopped. Same with a lot of processed deli meats. Try to eat healthier, focus on eating three meals that are smaller each day (a lot of people with GERD eat two big meals a day). Smoking cigs is an absolute no-no.Hookah mint might be okay.

Altoids are great for settling stomach after a meal and are socially acceptable to carry around over antacid tablets. But Peppermint can exacerbate things if you over do it.

No more than 12oz of coffee, use cream to balance PH, find blends that are less acidic. I like Folgers with distilled water. Shit is cheap and does the job.

Exercise. It may not cure it, but it will help. I recommend weightlifting.

Where the fuck have you been? People were making bread at home due to the pandemic causing bread shortages and because people didn't want to go to stores. Now that hysteria is down, bread is back and people have stopped. Are you still in March?

lol Nice one OP.

No, the Germans in the late 1800s were noted for beating the shit out of meat, not unlike a schinitzel, and then cooking said minced meat in patty form and drizzling it with brown sauce. This was called a Hamburg steak.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamburg_steak

From there the history of the hamburger gets wonky as fuck, and the sandwich tends to just...materialize itself into existence between 1897 and 1903, depending on who you reference.
