it's overdiagnosed as fuck. most histamine based allergies can be handled with a fucking zyrtec pill. you can also get exposure therapy where they microdose you on the allergen until your body tolerates it.

the "omg my kid is going to die if he's within smell distance of a snickers bar" shit is total shit. It's hyper-protective parenting and schools/institutions that don't want to get sued.
