Yep, this is the brand. Read the ingredients.
Its fucking disgusting. I made a breakfast casserole with it and it was absolutely ruined. Could only eat a few bites before throwing it out, it was that bad.

It mentions these parts specifically on the ingredients, I don’t know why. I realize that it’s lower quality than good chorizo, but I still think it’s tasty and it’s like $1.12 per tube.

I love me some Mexican chorizo fried up with beans or maybe eggs but I read that they make it with salivary glands and other disgusting shit. I haven't had it for a couple of years because I can't find out from any of the packeges what is in it except it says "pork". There is a brand a Wally's that says "salivary glands right on the package as if they were bragging about it.

I have tried the local butchers versions but they don't have a clue how it is supposed to taste. How cna I be sure that the chorizo I buy is made from muscle meat?

I made this mistake before. I bought it based on price, and when I got home I was pissed, this product is deceptively labelled.
There are multiple brands that sell chorizo made with garbage ingredients.
Before some asshole says "but offal is great! You're so narrow-minded", let me tell you a fact: it was not great. I gave it a try as an ingredient in my breakfast casserole, and it ruined the entire dish with a loathsome texture.
Buy your meats from a respectable source.

Heard a hipster once refer to hot dogs as "lips and assholes" but praise chorizo because of it's "authenticity" and use in "ethnic" food. Salivary glands and cheeks might as well be lips.
