It probably started as a meme, but in all honesty they're great. Extremely cheap, quite healthy, basically never expires, and versatile.
And they're delicious. Most of us who hadn't taken the deenzpill yet were skeptical, and most of us who finally bought a can on a whim were hooked. Meaty, pleasing texture, not funky or unpleasantly fishy tasting, filling, and a good energy boost.
Then add in the fact there's so many brands, flavours, and deenz-adjacent canned foods, there's relatively plenty to talk about. I also have a sneaking suspicion the vast array of packaging artwork adds a bit of a collectable vibe to them, with people liking to share their rare deenz

redpill me on brands. is it better to get them in oil/water/tomatoes or does it just depend on your preference? how do i tell if there's parasites in such a small fish? it's my biggest fear with seafood
