One of the best fish tacos I've ever had was on a beach in Cambodia. I have no clue where they heard about fish tacos or tried them, but it was like they used what they had to approximate the classic fish taco formula (I have absolutely no idea what the tortilla was made from but it sure wasn't corn) and it was amazing. Also, Taco Bell potatoes are shit 9 out of 10 times, and I usually have a good experience at my locations. More often than not they've been sitting under the heat lamp so long they're basically black and dried out and like chewing on plastic. Even when I do happen to get them fresh I'm not impressed. Out of all this shit I'll probably miss the dollar nachos the most, assuming they keep the fritos burrito but just use tortilla strips instead.

Laphroaig pairs extremely well with Taco Bell.

Is it actually worth trying or are you just trying to force something? I eat Taco Bell from time to time, but I'm sure I have a Del Taco not far off some alternate route, though I've never tried it. What's worth taking a chance on? I'll make a thread about it sometime in the next year.

The grillers were always a scam. You'd think it's common knowledge, but the fact that you can get anything grilled at no extra charge is probably the best TB "hack".

Taco Bell is widely regarded as one of the healthiest nation-wide chains, and the undisputed champion of ubiquitous fast food cuisine.

I legit used to buy El Monterey, and then I discovered Taco Bell. Even if you only go 4-5 times a week Taco Bell is a much, much better option. Their burritos reheat much better than any frozen burrito, and they're a much better value. Taco Bell wins every day of the week, and I can't even imagine looking at a frozen burrito at this point in my life.

Going to pick up the new double stacked tacos later today and will try this - though I hate the crunchwrap.

There's nothing wrong with driving drunk to Taco Bell; and no, you can't get food if you walk up to the drive through (and it's closed anyway).

I actually did a double take when I saw this thread, since I just ordered tonight's TB and was about to go pick it up, but this looks a lot like my order (not that I would ever get an extra ramekin of nacho cheese sauce with those items, and I have a nicer coffee table).

The Fritos Burrito is nothing like the Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito, and neither of those are the same if you don't get them grilled, let alone add onions and red sauce, and dip them in fire sauce. Don't get me started on the differences between the 5 layer burrito and the 7 layer.

Learn how to order, OP. Taco Bell is literally the only place left that offers both quality and value.

Making "fast food" at home doesn't make any sense, and you absolutely cannot replicate it for less effort/cost. All you're doing is making your home-made slop burger or taco and enjoying it more than the fast food equivalent that you despise (most likely because it was either that or hamburger helper growing up), but you're missing the point. You don't eat fast food because you want something authentically good; you eat it because you happen to like a particular fast food, and it's cheap and easy. You're also likely not making anything better than the cheap local restaurant version of that same dish. You just have a stupid superiority complex, and have neither taste nor skill in the kitchen. There's been a Mcdonald's fries clone recipe floating around for over a decade and it's probably the most overly involved fry recipe on the internet. Trying to recreate a Taco Bell Burrito from scratch is on par with trying to homebrew Budweiser.

>taco bell

>5 layer burrito
>fritos burrito
>$1 spicy loaded nacho taco

No, they'll go out of business. They're the last place that still offers $1 loss leaders, but even the 5 layer - their best item - is still relatively cheap compared to the $8 combo boxes they make their money on.
