Here's the two batches side by side. On the left is the non-rehydrated batch, the right is rehydrated to around 16%. Very similar roast level. You can see the hydrated batch looks darker, with more pronounced mottling. Had the same kind of result with the rehydrated kenyan. I'll taste them tomorrow to see the differences.
