I've used a regular old Oster for decades, but it just got replaced today with a vintage oval pitcher General Electric pic related. Oster will do 90% of what you ask it, and is a workhorse. They also fit regular width Mason jars so you can screw those onto the base like those faggy Magic Bullet things.

All that said I have a vintage Vitamix Maxi 4000 coming in the mail. I'll let you guys know how she performs if she gets here in proper working order. FedEx is the fucking Brute Squad. It's the vintage model with the steel pitcher, but has the upgraded drive sprocket thing so it can also accept modern pitchers. I also have a Waring Milk Shake Maker, a good made in USA model that works like a charm. I highly recommend those for malts and milkshakes.

I am probably going to put my chrome Oster away and keep this on the counter as my main blender. I'll use the Oster when I need to, or if I want to use the Milkshake blade. This new blender displayed very well.

I made a thing! Pic related.
