lolwut? British clothes are the shit. It's a political thing, not a British thing. Specifically, a political thing of the present day. Look at politicians who made their name back in the day, they have no problem wearing the Rolex they bought for a few hundred bucks back in the 60s. But now it's impossible to get elected if you give off even the slightest hint of being slightly well off. Never mind that you can leave office 10x wealthier than you went in despite being on a civil servant's salary. It's the appearance that counts.
