OP here, never heard of what that other guy said about serving steak with sour cream but I've never ordered steak here in a restaurant since it's not part of our national cuisine at all. Usually with grilled meats and shit you just get served a diced yellow onion and you can ask for ketchup and other condiments if you want.

As far as Serbian recipes, I don't really know. Maybe Sarma though that's Turkish and a lot of Slav countries have some variant of it.
