To be honest, as far as alcohol goes, you probably should go with the cheap stuff. If I had to i would recommend you drink budweiser, or maybe any good local craft beer.

As for meat, I think something with chicken is the way to go.

I wanted to try out some extra firm tofu since it's cheaper per lb than beef while still having protein. I have many sauces and condiments at my disposal, but I'm having trouble coming up with a good marinade. I want to pan fry it.

I have teriyaki marinade, soy sauce, sesame oil, some oranges, white vinegar and a dry white wine. I have parsley, cilantro, ground red and black pepper, paprika. I also have garlic, both minced and powdered. Fresh yellow onion and onion powder too. Brown sugar, white sugar.

I don't eat a lot of asian-themed foods so I am unsure of how to combine those things into an asiany marinade that will taste good fried.
