I caught the janitor digging through the trash cans at work looking for food after office hours a few months back, so today for our office Christmas party I made sure to leave him as much food as he, and whatever family he has, can eat. I emptied out the break room fridge before I threw the rest of the leftovers from the party away, so I also ended up killing two birds with one stone. It feels good to help less fortunate and that feeling of satisfaction from knowing that I did the right thing is the best Christmas present I could ever ask for.
