It appears that way on the receipt thing, but if you go on the actual website you'll see it's otherwise. For one, peppers are on sale. See pic related for peppers. It appears that for the website they take the average weight of the given item, and then charge you for that based on the price by weight. The running price by weight for this sale is $1.85/0.24kg=$7.69/kg, but the regular price of $2.64/0.24kg=$11.13/kg.

Therefore in this neck of the woods, we usually pay $11.13 per kilo, so buying 8 peppers is a fairly expensive choice at the grocery store.

TL;DR that section of the receipt stating price per kilo is wrong.
