i've ventured a try of all the maruchan noodle packs, shin ramens, buldaks, yakisobas...
yet, after many noodly endeavors, i find myself returning to the one place i find true respite...

in particular the hot and spicy chicken and beef are unbeatably comforting. and they're only 53 cents a pop at my grocer. a little secret: splurge on a box of chicken stock or chicken broth and fill these puppies up halfway with stock, the rest with water and microwave for approx 2 minutes and let it rest for another minute or so while the hot broth finishes cooking the noodles. i could eat a cup noodle every single day of my life and die happy (from gout probably on account of all the sodium)
