where i come from, a tip is something you get if you go out of your way to preform service way above the expected. Someone asking what i'd like to eat, bringing it and taking it back after im done, does not get a tip. He/she gets a "yea it was great - can i pay?" - they smile, and accept. Then they go cash the hughe paycheck they got for such a easy job.
