Generally, I make every single meal fresh and consume it all in one go because I don't have anything to store leftovers in, but if it happens that I do have leftovers, I simply reheat them on the stove.

Saltsicles. Just like a Salt Lick for cows, but smaller, and on a popsicle stick. All the advantages of a popsicle, without the drawback of it melting. Kids could have fun for days with this item, too.
