A&W in Leafland switched their milkshakes out to some chipped ice slurpee drink that's made from powder. It was completely lacking the creamy goodness of what you'd expect. It was a watery mess. They still call it a milkshake, however.
Disgusting and fraudulent, if you ask me.

tl,dr: PSA warning to any Anons out there who want a good milkshake: stay the fuck away from A&W.

Why can't any fast-food places make a good milkshake anymore? It's all soft serve with toppings mixed in and a straw.
They also put WAY too much syrup in nowadays. The bottom third is always a teeth-shattering mess.
