Chili's Grill & Bar. Had an old burnout fry cook in his later 50s maybe 60 who was really good at his job. Always really quiet. Polite. Little by little he started talking a lot more and laughing at shit instead of his usual smile that was probably forced anyway. The manager saw this as a bad thing for some reason and assumed he was doing drugs. But in reality he had started taking antidepressants and smoking weed at night to help with sleep. Queue drug test. He didn't even bother taking it, he knew he'd fail it. He quit. We found out he killed himself a few days later. My guess is he felt like this was just the end of the same fucking cycle he'd been on since forever. So he said fuck it. I don't have any sort of profound statement about wage-slavery, but I DO think there's a calculated need for people at the bottom of the food chain. Sometimes a heard needs culling I suppose.

Why are people so obsessed with pushing shit like this like it’s the answer to everything? I know eating greens is healthy, for fuck sake a preschooler knows this, but saying that humans aren’t supposed to eat meat is retarded considering we’re an omnivorous species. But honestly this is 4chan so I’m not exactly sure what I was expecting other than inane shit. What kills me even more is people come here preaching this shit pretend like they’re trying to convert people like it’s a religion or something when it’s just fucking food.
