You've just reminded me of pic related. I've personally tried it on a remote place in the italian's Apennines. The sheep(s) is/are boiled on giant(s) cauldron(s) for hours, along with vegetables and other spices. There's an italian saying (don't know if it's exclusive to that place though) that roughly translates like this "from the pig, nothing is thrown away". Well, for those farmers it was the same but for the sheep. And they were goddamn right. That thing tasted great, head included. The more you dig your way towards the skull, the more it becomes "cursed", if we want to remain in topic.
