Stoli turned to garbage about 12 years ago. I switched to Russian Standard. Then I learned to make my own Azeotropic vodka that tastes mildly of vanilla, because of the vanillins in it.

When I double distill it's FARRRRR better than anything you'll ever taste. It's magic. 94% is white lightning, but it tastes like vanilla. Stripping runs are what we call "low wines" they're shit, but when you put 3 tsp of sodium bicarb on them they're ok, they don't ruin your stomach.

I can make vodka that tastes better than anything you've ever had by fractionated stilling. This is 92%. It tasted lightly of vanilla and nothing else. I can get 93% plus. Go home you no nothing.

My own home fermented, home distilled 65% low wines. I don't even bother making 94% alcohol anymore.
