I could really go for a gas station hot dog right now. I don't even like hot dogs that much,but I'll eat one every four or five years. It has to have the dispenser chili, dispenser nacho cheese product, and mustard on it too. Plus a bag of cool ranch Doritos and an extra large Mountain Dew with those little pellets of ice that are fun to crunch on.

I worked at a Circle K when I was 21 and when I got that job, I spent the first 2 weeks using all of my free time trying to get our roller cleaned and properly ready to prepare food. It was positively disgusting and I used a putty knife to chip away years of shit off those things. Once I got it clean though, I 100% would eat whatever we got that cooked on them. Here's the list of what we had :

>cheeseburger dogs
>big hot dogs
>normal hot dogs
>sausage dogs
>pancake taquitos
>pepperjack taquitos
>4 cheese taquitos
>maple and bacon taquitos

The product itself was high enough quality, they were better than freezer shit you buy at Wal-Mart for example. I worked 3rd shift so it was always slow and once the cops started coming in, I told them coffee and anything on the roller was free, I went from 1 cop coming in a shift to 3 hanging out in the store and no less than 2 sitting in the parking lot for their entire shift. It was like throwing birdseed in a park, they'd come in and tell me what they wanted and I'd put it on for them once I told them I cleaned the living shit out of it. Aside from the cheeseburger dog, most of that food was really clean, the cheeseburger dog LOOKED disgusting but they tasted good.

Anyway, they have deli sections now in gas stations, these roller stations are obsolete.

AMA if you want to know any gas station lore, I worked there for 3 years.

Gas station hot dogs,
Maybe once every other month. Get the one with cheese inside. Load it up with onion, jalapenos and mustard.
