Just for the record, the person you're talking about isn't me (the OP). I'm also female. Declining to say whether or not I completely agree with that person or whether or not I laughed at the bluntness of their comment. Or this one: >>8798969
Also declining to say whether or not I got comedic relief from reading the things I'm thinking but wouldn't dare say.

Having more vegan meat alternatives on the shelves does nothing to promote the meat industry. If anything it's the opposite.

A lot of people eat the vegan meat alternatives actually because they know they taste better, and are better. Believe it or not, there are some people who also don't want to torture animals or destroy the environment, but they also enjoy convenience foods like these that allow them to eat the things they're used to eating without sacrificing their dignity.

Also, last I checked demand for meat and dairy in the U.S. is going down. Especially dairy. I don't think you have any basis for your argument at all.

You're honestly ridiculously silly. I've converted a lot of people with my vegan meat and dairy alternatives. If that stuff didn't exist, it would be so much harder for people who want to go vegan but also like to eat traditional American food to go vegan.

I feel like my IQ dropped a point from responding to this at all.
