Saw picrel at my local grocer. I wasn’t familiar with the brand. Thought they were in seasoned oil, but on closer inspection of the ingredient list I think it’s a seasoned tomato sauce. Going to try them after work.

Christ they’re expensive. 4.99CAD compared to the 2.99CAD I normally pay for deenz. Not bad on the overall deenz price spectrum but the can is quite small at 120 grams. I’m probably going to eat them on some toasted sourdough, rubbed with a clove of garlic, and maybe a little cream cheese or something too. Might just go deenz and garlic sourdough though.
