No, they are not prawns. They try to sell them as prawns. They are cheap shitty bits of white fish molded into a King Prawn shape. As I mentioned before they are called "Prawnies" and it only seems to be middle aged French men who sell them. They only taste vaguely nice because they are fried in an absolute ton of Garlic and Salt. They have the consistency of a more gelatinous Crab stick.
