I dated a Native American chick once that said in her tribe being fed gulls was a punishment for coming back from fishing without enough for everyone to be full. Her dad had to eat one once and said that their meat tastes like piss and rotten fish and that it’s insanely oily.

Dated another girl that was from Cuba and she said that pigeons, lizards, and toads were eaten almost to extinction after the collapse of the Soviet Union but that no one ever ate seagulls for some reason.
