Got a Hario Switch, and after a bit of adjustment on grind size, made a really nice cup of coffee with it today. Based on some stuff I've seen online, during the immersion phase I add water, then the coffee, with stirring at the beginning and fifteen seconds before the drawdown. This produces the bed scene in the attached picture, which is sort of dome-like rather than the flat bed that sources say is optimal. Does this normal standard still apply when you're adding coffee after water? The coffee tasted good, but I'm wondering if I could could make it even better.
