To prepare, I save all my period blood from the past 3 months in a mason jar. I use my glorious menses to pickle red onions, baby gherkins, and maybe a few tiny carrots. I serve the pickled veg with a toasted Rye bread and a really simple, warm gruyere cheese sauce for dipping. More of a hot app than a main course but I think he would be into it!!!!!
