dont use pickles. definitely don't use cheese. always use the navel cut and not the top round. never use some fancy mustard. in fact, a low-sodium yellow mustard is actually the best, but suit yourself

the secret? pickle juice. basically baste it. if you put pickles on it just ruins it. just put the juice. i cant give my credentials here but i just think you should try this
rye isn't a big deal. rye is a scam so use your favorite bread
