>move in with two male roommates I found on craigslist
>we all smoke weed and we generally get along
>though they tend to smoke and go on midnight munchie binges
>cooking vats of macaroni salad, mac n cheese, etc.
>towards end of the school semester
>roommates are stressed, smoking more than ever, and the other is doing dangerous shit like snorting ritalin when he's already on SSRIs
Things really went downhill in regards to them cleaning up after themselves and respecting my things. They scratched up the teflon in my good pans/pot, and they always used mine because they were in better condition than theirs. Sometimes they wouldn't wash them so if I wanted to use my own pans I'd have to take care of their mess.
Another annoying thing they did was the stove.
We had an electric one so once in awhile I had to change the foil underneath the burners due to grease spatters/etc. Well I'd have to clean the burners more than usual because whenever they made their vats of macaroni on stoner night, they would somehow get burnt macaroni UNDERNEATH the burners. How the fuck did they manage this if they weren't stirring like thrashing rhinos? So whenever I'd go to use the stove it would smoke up from being dirty and set off the fire alarms if I didn't compulsively check first.

Now for the dishes--most of their shit was egiven to them by their parents (one mom went to culinary school so their stuff was free) and everything was plastic. I had brought nice glass cups and dishes. I had about ten glass cups in total, and by the end of the semester I had one because they had broken ALL of my cups. Either from piling their dishes up in the sink on top of the glass & cracking under pressure, or because they dropped them.

I don't eat much. So despite them making the most dishes between the two of them, they also expected me to wash two full sinks of their dishes just because a cup that I used was in there somewhere. Else they'd accuse me of "never doing dishes."
