>They get more orders camping out in front of a jobsite rather than driving through residential streets.

Sure, but in-between breaks and lunch at shops, it seems to me that food trucks could make some additional money by stopping at apartment complexes.

I'm an apartment dweller and if a food truck came around a couple of times per week around diner time, I'd buy something and so would others here, as I constantly see UberEats delivery guys coming around dropping off food.

I had Delectabowl a couple of times when there were at the local brewpub (Kuhnhenns in Warren MI) and it was really good, though kinda expensive for how much you got but then everybody at the pub is drunk and doesn’t really care.

I’ll have a D.R.I.P.A.

Also, the food truck is here, what’s everybody having?

> > Metro Detroit suburbs
> yeah lol, imagine thinking detroit is expensive compared to like, any other city in America

Delectabowl is based out of Ferndale MI, Kuhnhenn Brewery is in Warren MI and Oakland County MI for example, has the 7th highest median income in the U.S.

When metropolitan Detroiters say “Detroit”, they don’t mean the CITY of Detroit, (which is a 3rd world shithole) they mean the surrounding, white populated and perfectly normal suburbs.

> You are now the owner of a food truck. What do you serve?

Bowls.

This would allow for a wide range of foods (pretty much anything that can go in a bowl) and high rate of return for the food truck owner, while giving customers a good selection of hot meals that are also easy to hold on to and eat.

Had pic related a couple of time when they were at the local brew bup (Kuhnhenn's in Warren MI) and it was real tasty, though pretty expensive.

>What does /ck/ think of food trucks?

Used to work at a shop that had a "roach coach" show up everyday for lunch that had all kinda everyday foods like mostacholi, meatballs & gravy, mashed potatoes, meatloaf, mac & cheese, etc. and you could fill a Chinet paper plate with whatever for $5.00.

The local brew pub (Kuhnhenns in Warren MI) regularly has food trucks parked outside and I tried the Delectabowl Comfort Bowl and it was really good but kinda expensive at $8.00.

>food truck

I was at Kuhnhenn's (brew pub in Warren MI) a few weeks back and these guys
were there and I tried the "Comfort Bowl", which was very tasty but overpriced
at $8 for a conventional sized bowl.

Pulled pork
Cornbread chunks
Coleslaw w/ shredded Michigan cherries
Shredded cheddar cheese
BBQ sauce

Wanted to mention this last week when I was at Kuhnhenns brew pub (Warren Michigan) and tghe Delectabowl food truck
was there and I tried one of their bowls but forgot the menu. Went there again today with a buddy and while I didn't get
anything to eat, I did grab a menu.

Last week I tried the "Comfort Bowl" and it was quite tasty but at $8. too expensive IMO;

$10 - BBQ Beef Brisket Sandwich w/ BBQ Chips & Coleslaw

$8 - Pot Pie Bowl - Brown rice base, Chicken pot pie, topped with a puff pastry

$8 - Comfort Bowl - Corn bread base, Slow cooked BBQ pulled pork, Michigan cherry coleslaw
and cheddar topped with homemade BBQ sauce

$8 Kielbasa Bowl - Brown rice base w/ kielbasa topped with grilled peppers and onions, drizzled
with spicy feta sauce

$4 - Cheesy Potatoes
