Is there any consistency to Kroger brand foods? I normally associate them with the cheapest stuff in the store, but I just noticed that they also own the Simple Truth brand, which I've had good experience with. Is the cheap stuff and the Simple Truth stuff made in the same factories, or does Kroger just pay to pimp it all out?

If anyone in this thread shops at Kroger then you know how awesome their reward coupon program is. Every few months my household gets a book full of sweet coupons based on what we buy the most. Last month in addition to the little discounts on paper products and stuff, we got
>FREE 1 lb Kroger bacon
>FREE 1 dozen eggs
>FREE 1 gallon milk

Kroger is the shit.
