It's ok but not my favorite Asian cuisine. It's not spicy and rich like Chinese food or crunchy and savory like Japanese food or tangy and sweet like Korean food. It's just ok. I've tried pho but not bahn mi. It seems to rely a lot on fresh greens and jalapenos to give it some kick. It reminds me of this short stack viet chick I fumbled at work last year, so I don't eat it that often.

I uncle used to have the liquor store deliver that shit to his home (really my grandma's home that he was freeloading at), because he claimed he used it to soak his feet. By pure coincidence, he became incontinent and unable to walk until he eventually died of heart failure after being kicked out of multiple nursing homes for being too ornery with the staff.

>mfw my mom overcooked eggs so much they were mostly burnt into the pan and she'd scrape them and put them in my plate
>forced to eat this once or twice a week
I think she's one of the main reasons why I learned how to cook so early in life
