>come up with the idea of putting tip jars on the counter so me and my coworkers could earn more dosh
>it's a success and people are tipping even if I don't remind them there's a tip jar on the counter
>manager realizes we're asking for tips
>finds out it was my idea
>grills me in front of the customers and coworkers
>I explain everyone is getting a share from the tips and that it's no big deal
>he doesn't care and sends me home
>later calls me to tell me I'm fired

I'm actually glad I got fired, what kind of business stifles its own workers' creative ideas.
