Was my go to whisky for a few months. Tasted like crap, had to mix it but it got the job done like you said. Then I discovered Canadian Club, similar price but easy enough that I can shoot it strait. Give it a try anon, it's less than $20 for 1.5L around here. Best value whiskey I have found so far.
