The last time I tried them was when I received an Uber Eats gift card. I ordered a Smashburger and fries around 6pm on a Saturday night, I'd been drinking for a bit at that point and it sounded perfect. The app estimated I'd get my food around 6:40, so I played some vidya for a while to pass the time. 7 o'clock rolled around and I got curious about where my food was, so I checked the app and apparently the first driver who was supposed to pick up my order dropped the order around the original estimated delivery time and the second driver was still about 30 minutes out from me. I was fucking pissed that I didn't receive any notification about the delay and called the second driver immediately, I knew it wasn't her fault but I was mainly just concerned about getting my food before it was cold. She told me she had just picked it up right before I called her at 7PM, so of course by the time it got to me it was cold as fuck. I threw away the fries and had to fucking microwave my burger. The thing that pissed me off the most actually was that Uber Eats gave me a "25% off your next order within two weeks" coupon because they were either notified by the driver that I was angry or just noticed that I called her. I uninstalled the app then and there, fuck you I'm not using your dogshit service ever again.

So I made gyudon for like the third time in my life, it turned out pretty good and I was quite happy with the result.
My four year old daughter kept asking for more salt and I was like "there is like soy and shit in it, plenty of salt already", but she kept complaining and insisting. Fine so I got her the damn salt, she put some on her food and stirred it around, took a bite and then asked me to taste it. I said alright despite mentioning it might be too salty now.
