Anyone have experience with DIY bellows?

I have something like pic related, trying to adapt it to the grinder that should not be named because let's just say the 3d printed chinese bellows that work well cost half the price of the grinder. Anyway even after clearing the grinder I can feel no air flow out the shoot. Just have the bellows piece, a pvc coupling, and the grinder right now. Do I just need to get everything air tight?
