being 'mainstream' isnt necessarily a bad thing actually.i wont say that there's a LOT, but there are places that have survived the shitty franchises and whatever. breadtalk's a good example- as much as theyre expensive all,its still comforting to have a bun every once in a while and not every neighborhood bakery manages to do it the way they do.
