Since his grilled cheese video I've stopped respecting Gordon as a chef. I was already on the fence after his scrambled eggs recipe, but that just sealed it for me.
Maybe he's really good at cooking high-class snobby food for the elite and the bourgeoisie, but when it comes to anything that a normal home cook or amateur chef would handle, he really drops the ball. And since I'm definitely a lot more like the latter than the former, I just don't listen to what he has to say regarding food, his advice doesn't seem all that good.
