Hands down, Imo's St Louis style pizza.

Everything about it is shit. If you want an approximation take a saltine, give it a squirt of ketchup, add a kraft single, then microwave it for 20 seconds.

I could only eat 2 squares before giving up. My buddy made a joke that he couldn't imagine someone from St Louis feeling nostalgic about an Imo's pizza. Later that day we saw a commercial depicting that very situation and had a good laugh at the absurdity. I never waste food but we ended up throwing away almost 2 whole pizzas before going to a Chipotle because we were still hungry

This is St Louis style pizza. The crust is thin and dry like a cracker, there is very little tomato sauce but it is sweet enough to let you know it is there, and the cheese is called Provelle, which is a processed American cheese that has the consistency of room temperature butter. It is completely terrible and if you want a good approximation I suggest putting some ketchup on a saltine, topping it with a slice of a kraft single, and microwaving it for 15 seconds. We should be feeding prisoners with this stuff

I get the feeling a lot of the people who start these threads have never even tried it. I went to a conference in Chicago and made a point to try it. It was good. Not great, but nobody's meme food is that good and some is downright nasty. My buddy kept talking up Cincinnati chili and when I finally got around to a Skyline it tasted like hot garbage.

St Louis style pizza is by far the worst iteration of pizza known to man and if you haven't had it let me tell you your taste buds are in for a treat. The crust is basically a cracker, the sauce is so sweet it will give you diabetes, and the cheese... my god the "cheese." They take provolone, Swiss, and cheddar and buttfuck it into something with the consistency of room temperature butter.

makes sense. There are a lot of places in america where people get super excited when a new chain opens up. Like when I was living in southern missouri we were super excited about Whataburger coming to Arkansas even though it was 50 miles away. Same shit with Krispy Kreme

St Louis style pizza is basically processed cheese on a huge cracker with some tomato sauce. It is nasty, vile, and is the only thing I have ever eaten from a restaurant that I could not get full on before having to stop from disgust. We had to stop at a burger king on the way home so we didnt starve

Later I saw a commercial for IMO's where a guy flies to st louis and the first thing he does is get their pizza and I laughed my ass off

I had St louis style pizza once. I was hungry as shit and only ate two squares. We had to go to burger king afterwards because we threw most of the pizza out.
