Picky eating can be fixed, but only if the person has an open mind and you're willing to be patient. My SO spent half his life in boarding schools, thought he hated a ton of basic ingredients, didn't even know what garlic tasted like, and had never tried most types of cuisine you can get in the US. Now he'll try and (if it's good) enjoy almost everything. Cooking with him helped a lot because it gave me an opportunity to teach him what things taste like and people are more willing to enjoy food they've invested time into.

Can somebody please tell me if slow roasting a turkey is a good idea? I'm getting desperate

I'm a meat eater, but this level of wastefulness and disregard for the miserable lives that were ended to create this abomination makes me sick.
